EVENT INFORMATION AND RULES

Race entries will close at midnight on Thursday 2nd September before the event, or when the race limit is reached.

 

• Half marathon runners must be aged 17 years or over on race day;

 

Entries can be submitted through the online entry system.

 

Bib Numbers will be mailed to all participants that have entered by midnight on the Sunday prior to the event and have provided a valid UK address during registration. When a bib cannot be mailed due to an incomplete/invalid address - and in cases where it does not arrive - participants can collect a new/replacement bib at Nicholsons Shopping Centre on Saturday 4th September (between 11:00 - 15:00) or on the morning of the event.

In entering this event you are accepting the following conditions:

 

I am medically fit to run, and understand that the organisers, sponsors or any assisting person or persons will in no way be held responsible for any injury, illness, loss or damage to my person or property incurred during or as a result of the event, or any damage caused by me to other people or their property.

 

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason.  Under no circumstance will refunds be given.  Due to the nature of the event expenses are incurred prior to the date of the race and these are deducted from the income. If the race is cancelled the monies remaining after expenses will be used for local, national and international charitable and good causes.
